Ancon Construction designed and built a 12,000-square-foot, two-story multipurpose center addition on the western edge of an existing church and day school campus. The new facility was created to support the client’s need for a modern, flexible space serving both educational and ministry programs.

The project included a lobby, concession/kitchen area, gymnasium court, stage, and learning studios, bringing athletics, performances, classroom activities, and community gatherings together in one functional building addition.

Construction took place while the church and Preschool–8th Grade school remained fully operational. Located between a soccer field, baseball diamond, and playground, the confined site required careful coordination of safety, access, material staging, demolition, and utility work. Ancon worked closely with the client to minimize disruption to students, staff, church members, and scheduled events.

The completed multipurpose center provides a flexible, long-term solution for education, athletics, worship support, and community use, demonstrating Ancon Construction’s experience with design-build construction for schools, churches, and active campuses.
