Ryan’s Place

Overview

Ryan’s Place – Home for Healing Hearts is an 18,000-square-foot facility located on Regent Street in Goshen. Recognizing that no two people grieve in the same way, the building is thoughtfully designed with a variety of program spaces that support the unique grief journey of each individual. These spaces include a small dark cave, meditation room, interactive marker wall, music room, high-emotion room, hospital room, theater, and activity room. An art room and art splatter room further encourage creative expression as part of the healing process.

The building is organized into three primary sectors: office administration, teens and adults, and small children. These areas are connected by corridors featuring breakout seating spaces that promote comfort and connection. A signature treehouse element anchors the welcoming lobby, reflecting the organization’s logo while providing a memorable, elevated experience for visitors. The lobby also includes a small café kitchen, dining area, library, and living-room-style lounge seating.

Situated on a beautiful site with opportunities for future growth and expansion, the campus is planned to include concrete patios, a picnic pavilion, walking trails, a memorial garden, and an interactive playground—extending the healing environment beyond the building walls.

"Working with Ancon Construction has been an incredible experience. From the very beginning, they have treated us as if we were their only client, giving our project their full attention and an unmatched level of detail. They have truly listened to our vision and needs for a children's grief support center, ensuring that every aspect of the building reflects the heart of our mission."
