Overview

Ancon Building Services, a division of Ancon Construction, partnered with River Valley Church to transform its existing facility into a refreshed Worship Center, aligned with the church’s vision and culture.

What began as a sanctuary remodel—new flooring, paint, lighting, and stage updates—quickly evolved through collaborative design conversations. Early discussions revealed that lighting and audio-visual performance were critical priorities. With lighting and audio-visual performance identified as key priorities, our team worked closely with church leadership to develop a solution that supported their ministry goals while staying within budget.

After the project was awarded, the scope expanded to include new carpet throughout the building, the addition of a baptistry, and lighting upgrades in the family center, creating a cohesive experience across the facility.

A unique challenge was the building’s original “pole barn” construction, which required thoughtful detailing to achieve the desired architectural character. Over six months, the vision came to life. With faux wood beams, stone elements, and a centrally featured cross, the completed Worship Center reflects its design intent, a space that is truly “Here to Stay.”
