Cullen Stanger, a project manager with Ancon, was recently selected and recognized as a member of the 2012 Forty under 40 class. Forty under 40 recognizes those in our community who show initiative and dedication in pursuing their career and investment in others through their involvement in civic, charitable, and/or religious organizations. Cullen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Associate of Science in Architectural & Construction Technology, both from Indiana State University.
Cullen is a member of The Vineyard Church of Mishawaka, where he is involved in the following ministries: assistant coordinator for Food for Families, Community Outreach Team, facility maintenance team, Little JAM (Jesus and Me) Children’s Ministry, Project Warm, LaCasa “Help-A-House”, food distribution at Albright United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, and food packing for “Feed the Children”. Cullen has also served on mission trips in 2011 and 2012 to Haiti to build homes for displaced Haitians from the earthquake through the “Love a Child” foundation. He is planning on returning in 2013.
Cullen’s continuing goals as a project manager are to find ways to incorporate “lean” construction practices into every project to reduce waste and increase profitability.
