Everything is in full swing (no pun intended) for the Ancon Construction team as they begin work on the 15,000 sqft performance center at Four Winds Field. Also known as the Cub’s Cage, the facility will contain six batting cages, weight room, restrooms, concession, support spaces, and an upper viewing lounge that looks down into the batting cage space and Four Winds Field.
Project Manager Cullen Stanger and Superintendent Tony Black will oversee the project which will be complete in early April 2015. The project is designed by JPR, a firm which specializes in ballpark facility design. JPR received the 2012 Ballpark Renovation of the Year award for prior renovation work at Four Winds Field.
