Ancon Construction has begun work on the new South Bend Cubs Patio, a custom-designed balcony-style outdoor viewing structure that enhances the fan experience at the South Bend Cubs Performance Center. This new patio is located on the exterior side of the mezzanine level, providing elevated sightlines that overlook the baseball field and create a unique connection between spectators and the game-day atmosphere.
As an experienced commercial construction and sports facility construction company, Ancon Construction is managing all aspects of the project, from structural coordination to schedule management. The project is being overseen by Project Manager Cullen Stanger and is on track for completion ahead of the team’s opening game day, ensuring the space is ready for the start of the baseball season.
The South Bend Cubs Patio is designed to accommodate 114 additional spectators, offering a premium outdoor viewing area that supports increased attendance and enhanced fan engagement.
