Hope Community Church Celebrates Project Completion

Hope Community Church of Niles and Ancon Construction worshiped and celebrated together on Sunday, February 22 at their recently completed building project.  The celebration reflected on the history of the church’s ministry, which started in 1999, and the amazing outreach that has taken place along with more than 1140 souls that have come to know the Lord.  “We now turn the page and begin the great future our Father has for us!” explained Pastor Michael Smith.  Hope Community Church envisions their new building project will continue to foster their community outreach and the spatial needs the large new sanctuary offers.

Ancon Construction designed and built the 19,090 sqft building project which includes a youth ministry wing and a 1000 seat sanctuary.  The high performance acoustically designed sanctuary has a large performance stage and a built-in baptismal pool.  Another unique feature of the building is the north facing lobby commons with café nook, information center, and soft seating areas along the window walls.  “The lobby feels more like a living room – an inviting, comfortable space for people to gather and partake in fellowship with one another,” explained Ancon Designer Matthew VanSoest.  “Ancon is truly honored and blessed to play a small role in the exciting ministries that are happening at Hope and we look forward to working again with them soon!”
